For sale is my beloved Volvo 240 Turbo Wagon. This is a turbo conversion. Engine and transmission are from a 1992 740Ti with 159K miles. I used the existing 240 wiring harness and added a few things. It does have the resistor pack and a few other items to make it work with that engine including the computer. I am using the 740T ignition computer and module. I also used the 740T fuel pump so everything would work correctly. Everything has been soldered and heat shrinked and then taped. I also used the 740t auto trans. It shifts very well. It does need a cooler though. I do have a 740 style one but I did not get around to doing it. Car starts right up and runs strong. Boost is set to 15 PSI. The car is VERY fast. It gets to 60 in about 6.5 seconds. It does need premium fuel to make it happy. Electric radiator fan fron a 94 940T using a Saab fan switch housing that is in the upper radiator hose. It uses a VW golf 2 speed fan switch. I am also using a Volvo vacuum pump for the accessories. It works good but is a little noisy. The exhaust is new and has NO catalytic converter. It will not pass inspection if are required to smog you vwhicle but one could be esily welded in. The air cleaner is fron a 1995 Saturn. It was the only one I could find that was small enough and had the right size opening. I removed the 1992 oil to water cooler and installed an oil to air cooler. Makes the car run cooler. I suggest a 3 core radiator if you are going to drive it hard.
Interior: This was a stock DL model when I bought it, but I made some upgrades. They include: power windows, tach, 10 bar oil pressure guage and sender from a Porsche 924, new VDO turbo gauge. It still had the vinyl seats with heaters, sorry but they dont work. Carpet is in good condition. Has the factory fog light switch(was in the car when I bought it). The A/C is working. Its a setup from a 91 model with a new evaperator. It has been converted to R134A. It works pretty good. Turbo steering wheel. The door panels are nice. Still has the factory floor mats but the drivers is a little worn. Radio is a CR-814 cassette deck with the changer controls. I do not have a changer for it. Volvo 4 channel amp, New Pioneer 6x9 speakers in the rear doors. Third seat in rear. I have all the books and paperwork for this car. Center matching arm rest.
Exterior: The body is in pretty good shape except for the passenger fender and front door. The previous owner had a minor accident. I have a nice door and fender that will go with the car along with the matching paint. It does have some scratches here and there but it is a 20 year old car. The headlights are clear, the fog lights work. Tail lights are in great shape. 1990 Volvo 740T 16 inch wheels. these are pretty rare but not as rare as the 17's.
Extras: The winning bidder will also get a 16 valve head from a 1991 GLE that is in very nice condition. NO bent valves. turbo sway bars. Set of nice Virgo wheels with caps, set of 14 alloy wheels that came with this car. I have a 2000 powerstroke intercooler and piping I will throw in. I also have some other misc parts I will throw in.

If all you Volvo nuts want to know. YES it burns rubber. So much that you cant see due to the smoke. I layed a patch 75 feet long. I don't go around doing it all the time but I'd like to know it could. I suspect the engine is puting out around 200HP.
The car is pre-wired for power mirrors. I do have a set of older ones that will go with the car but you can get aftermarket newer style ones that are heated for $25 on ebay.
I also have a turbo plus kit if anyone is interested. 1989 and older 740T models.
