I am the third owner of this Trans Am. I aquired it to restore it but ran out of money. To restore it I purchased a 1988 Formula Trans Am with 76,000 original miles with a TPI 305, and a 700R4 trans. The 84 Trans Am has a Chevy 350 bored .030 over, H.O. 305 heads. Motor has maybe 200 miles on it. Trans also rebuilt same time as motor by a GM service tech. Car needs new fenders and body work to be completed. Rear quarters have been sand blasted and interior has been removed. Parts car has good hood, and interior for the 84. The engine in the 88 parts car runs fine, could be used for a different project. Parts car moves, but has not been driven down the road, yard driven only. 88 parts car has no title.
