For sale is this very rare, 99.99% ORIGINAL, two-owner vehicle… in need of your attention and loving restoration. This is an extremely rare PILLARLESS HARDTOP car that could become that special automobile to one day be best in show!
THE SPECS:
ENGINE: Original 389 V-8
Automatic Transmission
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Cloth/Vinyl Seats
Factory AM Tube Radio
Original Spare
Engine runs well – starts easily and is VERY strong, ready for triple deuces, if you choose! I have included new exhaust manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets (though I see no oil leaks whatsoever). 3-Speed tranny seems fine, but I have not tested it other than very short distances. There is some surface rust on the vehicle, but floor pan and door bottoms, trunk, etc. are great – NOT RUSTED…. the lacquer paint was very thick, and is chipping away, leaving some bare metal spots. The chroming has blistered on the rear bumper bottom right, but there are no holes in the bumper. This really is an excellent foundation for a restore. Everything is original, as far as I know (except the battery). The seats have good springs, but are in dire need of re-covering. The carpet needs to be replaced, and new window seals installed. The glass is very good all the way around, and all chrome is present except a beauty ring for the right rear taillight. Heater blower and controls work fine, as do the wipers… this beauty has so much potential! I have the comprehensive original shop manual on CD ROM which includes specs, etc. Paperwork found in the car confirms that it has only the second set of tires on it presently, and confirms that the mileage is true. Of course, clear WV Title will be conveyed to winning buyer.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end. I will accept PAYPAL and good ole CASH only. The balance is due within 7 days of auction end. It is buyer’s responsibility to arrange pickup of vehicle. I haven’t seen this particular model on ebay, and it lists for big bucks in restored condition.… so I have levied a very modest Reserve of $2,250.00 to protect my investment.
As always, please feel free to ask any questions. God Bless and Good Luck!
Though I have tried to photograph as many pertinent things as I can, please email me if you’d like anything specific photographed or further detailed (I want you to be happy with your purchase – no surprises)
