Vehicle Description
Have all the fun of a Dart 340, Demon 340, or Duster 340 at a fraction of the cost and resonable gas mileage!
ORIGINAL 318/904, PS, PDisc, A/C, remote mirror, light group including fender turn indicators. I have the build sheet.
NOW the origianl 318 has a stock 360 4 bbl intake and AFB, headers, factory appearing 340 air cleaner, 2 1/2" dual exhaust w/X-pipe and turbo's, no tips. Has 904 w/moderate stall speed, original 7 1/4 open rear w/highway gears. This 318 runs as nice as any I have been around.
ADDED column mounted tach, under dash temp and oil pressure gauges, AM/FM cassette w/rear 6X9's, rear air shocks, 14X6 Road Wheels w/new lugs and caps. Great tires lots of miles left in brakes.
REBUILT: Starter, power steering pump.
NEW: Mallory ignition wires, master cylinder, high flow water pump, 160 thermostat, fan clutch (A/C), orange control box, water valve, battery, transmission cooler, polygraphite front end less than 1000 miles ago.
INTERIOR: New Legendary seat covers, dash cap and deluxe (speaker cut outs) package tray. New carpet and trunk mat. Interior trim pieces are excellent original or refinished in factory colors.
EXTERIOR: 90%+ original paint, right front fender (before I bought it) and engine compartment have been re-painted. Body is not perfect, there are small dents and scratches that don't really show in the pictures. Original trim is very good to excellent. New vinyl top, some glue bubbles underneath, THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS CAR ANYWHERE. Lights, signals, emergency brake all work. Comes with new hood pad and clips. Still has the California emissions sticker on the driver side rear window.
NEGATIVES: A/C needs recharge, but has been converted to 134. Heater A/C only works in the vent, A/C and MAX position. It it does provide heat or fresh air in the vent position and A/C in the A/C or MAX position. Temp gauge and oil light do not work (under dash gauges). Speedo doesn't work, bad cable. Sometimes the transmission will not lock when put into park and sometimes you need to shift into neutral for the engine to start. Wipers don't work, there is a nylon piece in the linkage that has broken. The choke is not hooked up, but it still starts fine. Some of the dash lights are burned out.

Yes this is the same car that was listed a couple of weeks ago with a 1972 340 in it. I couldn't afford to sell the car with that engine for the bid price, so here it is again with a great running (the original) 318.
