Up for auction is this 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury III Fast Top. Car has the original 383 w/a 4bbl. added (Holley street dominator intake and Holley carb.) w/ 727 auto trans, not sure of the rear-end size (see pics), but it is a front-loader. Car had a minor carburetor fire several years ago (before I bought it, see pics), hence the re-wiring and hood damage. I originally bought this car to fix up, but along with many other Mopars I have acquired along the way, this car has taken the back-burner recently.
The interior is in exceptionally good condition, with factory bucket seats and center console, new headliner, and after-market gauges. The body is in good shape, straight and all there, but does have some rust, as it was a northern car. Still has the original color JJ1 Ember Gold Metallic paint.
Motor, transmission, and rear-end alone are worth WAY MORE THAN THE RESERVE, so whether you want to build this car OR use it for parts- it’s perfect for either one!!
AS FOR THE RUST ISSUES,THE FLOORS are ACTUALLY SOLID,THE REST IS THE KIND FROM SITTING FOR SO MANY YEARS UNTOUCHED
