You are bidding on a 1980 Cutlass Supreme with almost 57,300 miles on it. I purchased this vehicle almost 2 yrs ago from a gentleman in Greenville S.C. I brought the car home with 49,875 miles on the clock and the original bill of sale in hand. Since my purchase, I have made several improvements (listed below) which make this car a pleasure to drive. This Olds is equiped with the 260 cid Oldsmobile engine which runs great. The body on the car is very solid along with the rear frame, trunk and floors. The only problem areas on the car are behind the door on both sides, there is surface rust. The other area is under the trunk lid. In addition, the bumpers will need to be redone at some point. They are a little pitted in the rear and the front bumper is starting to peel. The interior is faded but there are no major tears in the fabric. The dashboard is cracked badly on the top portion. The most obvious blemish in the interior is the chunk missing on the drivers side headrest and a small one on the passenger side. The 2 plastic runners that go up along the dash are missing. I had to pull them off when I got the car because they were disintegrating. The last interior blemish is the sun visors are coming apart. I have temporarily fixed them with a stapler. Overall, this is a very nice ride for the money. I would trust this car to drive anywhere. Kelly Blue book on classics puts this car between $3400 and $3800. The very least I am taking for this car is $2000. I will require a deposit of $500 within a couple days after the auction. The rest can be paid when the vehicle is picked up. Improvements Include
New shocks all around and new springs in the rear
Rebuilt Carb with plugs wires cap and rotor
Air Conditioning converted to new refrigerant (blows cold)
I put in a used Pioneer radio with remote
I bought new Sony 4x10 speakers for the rear and 3 1/2 in Infinitys for the front
New raised white letter tires all around
I replaced the steering wheel because the old one was in rough condition
The transmission fluid was also changed and a new filter put in.
