This car would be a good project or parts car. You are bidding on a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. It appears to be an original AC car. The compressor core comes with the car. I purchased the vehicle two years ago in a wrecked condition. The vehicle had been hit in the passenger side mid-way. I have replaced the door and the rear quarter panel. The vehicle tracks and drives nicely. It does not look like the frame was bent in the wreck. The car has a rocket 350 V-8 with an automatic transmission. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts well. The exhaust system is good. The seats are good. The carpet is good. There is rust in the places expected. The left rear quarter needs fixing. The floors are in good shape. I do not know the exact mileage (more than 100,000) The glass is in good shape. The windshield is new. Front disc, rear drum brakes. New headliner included. The car is what it is. It has power brakes and power steering. I did most of the work on the body and I am not a professional. I drive the car often and to date nothing I have welded to the car has fallen off. Please ask questions. Car sold as is. Today 11/16/2008, please find additional photos that will give you more insight to the car. There a pictures of the floorboards and the repair I made. There were no rust holes in the floor after the repair. After the repair, the floor was painted. Followed by a layer of soundproofing (silver roll) followed by the carpet. There is a photo of the drivers B pillar where rust was cut out and patched. There is a picture of the trunk where the QP was attached. and you can see the rocker area where I cut short and made a mess. Again, most of the repairs were made by following book or magazine instructions. I had some help with the welding. Finally, there is a picture of the front seat (prior to steering wheel change. The original wheel was badly cracked). Thanks again for looking.
