Hello,up for auction here is a nice rust free Arkansas car.I bought this car in the summer of 2002 while on vacation. It did run,but the 3.8L V6 (231) had a rod knocking in the bottom end.I did drive it, the 350 THM. transmission did shift well both up down through the gears. The guy I bought this car off of lost the title, but he did end up getting it for me.I do have a good clean (open) Arkansas title. This car is the special edition, but is the base model car.It did have the 1/4 vinyl top which I have since deleted. The side 1/4 glass have been changed over for the non vinyl or hard top look. Once I got this car home ,or to my home (Indiana) I pulled an Olds 350 out of a 78 Delta 88.I put this engine in this car to make it moveable.Yes I did take it out have some fun in it.Doing the one wheel peel all over our lil town. The car was in the shop for over a year during this year it was stripped down to bare metal. The car needed to be stripped because the top surface was stripped by the hot Arkansas sun, was covered in surface rust. The car was primed with 12 coats of PPG primer, being wet sanded every 4 coats. The car was then sealed using PPG sealer. The car also has 6 coats of color match base coat clear coat PPG paint. With 6 coats of PPG clear. The car does have some very small dents that I feel didn't need attention. The holes for the rivits that held the vinyl tops metal trim have been filled.I do have all the lower chrome trim , the rivits are all still in place. Now I have since blew up that old Olds 350.Before I got the exhaust on the car.It now has a freshly rebuilt 1977 Olds 403 V8 OR (6.6L).The engine is out of a 1977 Buick Station wagon. The engine was built totally stock except for the fact that it needed bored .040.This engine has been installed does run,but I have never put in any anti-freeze.I still haven't changed the radiator, its a good radiator, but it's the smaller one. The car still doesn't have any exhaust. All that's on the engine is the stock cast iron manifolds. The old V6 intermeted pipe muffler are still under the car.The engine runs good ,but hasn't run longer then a few mins at a time. Some how I have lost the driveshaft,so the car hasn't moved on it's own power in almost three years. It's been it my garage the whole time. I have a brand new distributor, used 600 cfm holley spread bore carburator that is included, but not installed. The car also has two brand new.B.F.Goodrich Radial T/A's on the rear that have only been pushed in out of the garage a few times. These tires are 275-60-R15's,they are mounted on used weldlites that are 15x 8" wide.I do also have the front B.F.Goodrich tire for the fronts, but not yet on the car do to the fact of not having the front rims yet. These tires are 235-70-R15's.This auction also includes a full set of chrome Olds ralley wheels that are 14" in great shape w/ caps.I have all the interior parts, but not all installed. This car does have power seats power windows I can't remember if it has power locks or not.I can will be taking more photos,so please dont hesitate to ask for more. You can email me any questions.I need to sell this, because I'm not working I really need some money.Cash at pickup this is a NO RESVERE auction. This item is local pickup only, it is not drivable in it's current condition. This car is super clean without any rust on body, frame,or floors. This is the perfect father child project.I was gonna pull the rear end,is why I pulled the driveshaft, but can't remember where it went. All the chrome is in great shape, bumpers shine like new. There is two spots where the roof 1/4 panels come together from the factory one on each side that the factory didn't do a good job of body work due to the vinyl top that I done, but used the wrong filler, it is now cracking out. This car is also in the local bargin paper,so it is for sale locally,so I may end this auction early if it sells.I know with the economy that I will be taking a loss, but I really need the money.
