Selling my beautiful 1998 LS400. This car has all the options, including on-wheel cruise, upgraded wood trim package, power everything, nakamichi premium 9 speaker sound with 6 disc CD in glove box, homelink garage door system, dual climate control, memory seats, front and side airbags, self adjusting Xenon headlights, sunroof, and is equipped with an Alpine EX-10 IPOD/Bluetooth adapter.
The LS400 comes with a wonderful and "bulletproof" 4.0 liter V8 producing 300HP. Not only is it powerful, but it get between 26-29mpg on the highway and 17-18 in the city! As you can see in the picture, the overall average for the car is over 22mpg! Impressive for a big, comfortable, luxurious car!
I purchased the car in November last year from Sewell Lexus in Dallas, which is a Premier status Lexus dealer. I believe I am only the second owner. It was fully serviced (90k service and ALL needed work), fitted with new Yokahoma tires (approx.75% tread left), and all records are available in the Lexus dealership system. The last 19k miles have been purely highway miles. It has consistently been run on Mobil1 synthetic oil and premium gas. The car truly runs like new and needs absolutely nothing, although i did recently notice the hood is not holding itself up as well as normal when raised.
Overall condition is EXCELLENT for a 10 year old car. I would actually consider it excellent for a 2 year old car! There are no dents or dings, no major scratches or paint nicks.. just a few VERY small marks which wouldn't even show up on my camera when i tried to take pictures. The interior is Excellent as well, with no rips, tears, or wear spots in the leather, and no stains in the carpet. It does have all 4 lexus floor mats, as well as the extra lexus mat for the trunk. Everything works electrically on the car, as should be expected, and the A/C blows VERY cold.
