2001 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible with only 39,400 miles!
Very clean - gets tons of attention - 24 + highway MPG
Reserve set at $11,100
Up for grabs is my 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT (Special Vehicle Team). I love this car, its awesome to drive in the spring/summer/fall with the top down or up! I've received a lot of attention while driving this car, but if you want to remain anonymous you can go into stealth mode by putting the top up and hiding behind the tinted windows. This car shines just like a new one off the showroom floor, people have a hard time believing me when I tell them this is a 2001!
I bought this car in the winter of 2006 with 36,000 miles by an individual in Massachusetts. He was selling it because he was sending his daughter to college. The man kept the car garage kept and maintained it very well. After I purchased the vehicle, I kept it in a garage for the winter and put most of the 3,000 miles I put on it in the summer of 2007. During the winter of 2007 again it sat garage kept. During the spring and summer of 2008 it sat at my grandmothers house while I played with my other toys.
If I had plenty of money, I'd keep this car for sure, but I have five other vehicles including a fox chassis 5.0 Mustang, a Jeep CJ-5 and a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle. This Cobra is one that I still make payments on, so I've decided I had to let it go. Sorry, no sappy "my wife is making me sell it" excuses - I'd sell her before I'd sell this car! I currently owe $11,100 on this car, so I'm willing to let it go for anything over that amount for which I foresee no problems.
I'm 30 years old and I got over the racing / beating the heck out of cars stage many years ago. In all honesty, I raced this car on only one occasion, and that was in 2007 when a 2002 Pontiac Firebird WS6 stopped next to me at a stop light (what else is going to happen?). Up to 90 mph I was two feet in front of him - not bad considering this is a convertible with stock gearing and the fact that I had a passenger when he didn't.
Below is a listing of the modifications (modifications in blue the previous owner installed and modifications in red I installed):
BBK offroad H pipe (comes with OEM H pipe also)
Borla cat-back exhaust (sounds great)
KN filtercharger system
Hypertech Power Programmer
Stylin' Concepts rollbar
17'' OEM charcoal bullitt wheels with Nankang tires at 90% tread life remaining
Hurst shifter (very close ratio)
Medium tint on all windows except windshield and convertible top window.
Oil changed with Royal Purple.
The vehicle does not come with the OEM 17'' SVT Cobra rims - I sold those to a local a year ago.

An important note:

3) You get written authorization through the eBay messaging system to bid on my auction
If you disregard this message and place a bid, your bid will be cancelled immediately and you will be placed on the blocked bidders list.
I am truely sorry if this makes things difficult, but I feel as though this will screen out those who are serious in winning this car and those who want to play games.
