Up for your consideration are a pair (2) London Austin Taxi cabs model FX4. Neither car runs or starts as best I can tell. These two are in AS-FOUND condition. They were abandoned due to a forclosure. A bill of sale will accompany these two Austin's.
One taxi is in various states of disassembly, mostly body panels and the right rear tyre will need to be reinstalled. Most tyres are flat and may only require air to inflate them, but that's no guarantee. The one car seemes to be mostly there except the trunk lid, which the other car has. The interrior is poor-fair in one, there are leather seats installed. Both cars have diesel engines but are in unknown condition, as are the transmissions and everything else for that matter. I have included several pix, and I have a few more if you need more detail. I'm unsure about the year models as I don't know where the number plates are located. This would be a great project for someone with a love for English taxi's. No meters are in the cars, but one still has the meter bracket and there is a paper fare listing pasted to a window behind the drivers seat - how cool is that! This is going to be a short sale, so bid early and come prepared to remove both cars at the same time.
Both cars will need to be towed from the site as soon as the sales is completed, or they will be moved to a storage facility for which you will be responsible if you are the lucky buyer. Shipping, to or from any point, will not be available for this sale.
