My personal car. I found a yellow 2000 nsx that I just had to have, and I can't keep them both. These cars have maintained their value amazingly well. This is my 3rd nsx, the yellow is my forth. I had two 93's prior to this. These cars, if truly nice examples, are still bringing close to what they were back in 1999 when I bought my first one.
I will discuss the negatives first. The timing belt has NOT been changed. Acura recommends at 90k miles, but that is of course a conservative recommendation. There are a couple of paint blemishes in the removeable top. Please see picture for a closeup. As for paint work, I am not sure, but the front plastic nose appears to have been painted before. Since the rock chips and road rash are minimal, I would say that this piece has been repainted. There is no overspray and if indeed it has been repainted, it was a nice job. If you choose to take the factory wheels, the rear tires will need to be replaced. The fronts are nearly new. All 4 are Kumho ecstas, a top rated high performance tire. The check engine light is on due to a bad oxygen sensor which I have not replaced yet. Does not affect performance at all, but will take about $200 to replace. The radio volume know produces a little static when you adjust the volume while listening to the radio, but not when listening to a CD. That's all I can come up with that's bad stuff.
Now for the good news....
Very clean, straight, unblemished exterior and interior. Paint is unfaded with beautifjl gloss, no dents, scrapes or scratches, no wax buildup, all body panels fit perfectly. Interior is one of the nicest you will find with supple, smooth leather, no tears, rips, stains. Nothing missing or broken. Very nice carpet, dash, door panels, and sills. No sun fade, no cracks, no smoking.
Mechanically sound with no issues. Engine runs just as strong as any nsx I've ever owned or driven. Brakes are fresh, transmission smooth, alignment perfect. All electrical components function properly. No leaks or wind noise. Suspension very smooth and agile, again no issues.
Factory 6 disc changer in the trunk works correctly. Factory subwoofer and all speakers function properly.
Clean, clean inside and out. Check out the doorjambs and engine compartment. This has been one pampered vehicle.
WHEELS AND TIRES ! I put the factory wheels back on for the photos as most people like to see the car in stock condition. I now have the aftermarkets wheels back on with nearly new Toyo Proxes. These aftermarket wheels are 18" rear and 17" front and are in PERFECT condition. Correct size with 7 spokes just like the factory wheels. I just prefer a bigger wheel than the originals. These wheels are dark bronze in color. Buyer has choice of wheel/tire setup. The aftermarkets with Toyo tires, all 4 near new, OR the factory 17"/16" with Kumho ecstas, fronts nearly new and rears needing replacment.
